OhNothing releases their second single in 2023. 

“Hey OK”is a song about growing up and coming to terms and 
deciding what you want to value in your life.

OhNothing is a Danish electronic music, duo from Odense, formed in 2020. The duo consists of Annika Baier (vocals, mini Korg) and her older brother Jesper Lund Rimmerhus Vestager (synthesizer, perc., drums, backing vocals)

Their sound on “Hey OK”, is crispy clear and they have perfected the art of delivering a song with natural peaks and ebbs while maintaining the energy throughout the entire song. It is elegantly mixed by Carsten Heller who brings out all nuances in the new single.

The duo has previously been compared to Kate Bush and Kraftwerk. But the observant listener will also be able to hear the inspiration from Florence + The Machine.


Taking a giant leap from the electro pop of the eighties, to add some more modern sounds OhNothing seem to have defined and bring their electronic synth pop into 2023 and the overall atmosphere of the tracks feels like a very conscious choice to combine the two opposites in OhNothing’s soundscape.


The song is written as a song to get you through these decisions and lessons, of growing up and becoming an adult. Because hey – in the end it’s all going to be okay.

‘Hey OK’ will be released May 19th on Celebration Records.
